About The Beach:
The Sal River forms the beautiful Mobor Peninsula as it cuts a board swathe when it nears the Arabian Sea.Mobor Beach is a lovely stretch of golden sands skirting the aquamarine waters of the Arabian Sea. It is about 10 km long and is located between the estuary of River Assolna and the majestic Arabian Sea. It is situated close to the famous Colva Beach. A major factor that attracts the tourists to this place is its serenity and less crowded atmosphere.
Till 1980s, this was just a barren stretch of sand with one village, a few fisherman's hut and long stretches of sand used for drying fish..... until the Leela Hotel and other five star hotels moved in and colonized the entire unfold.
