The Caranzalem beach is situated at about 4 kms from Panjim in between Miramar and Caranzalem. The beach is 3.5 km long and has stretches of heavenly white sand and crystal clear blue water. The lure of ocean waves excites many and draws them for a swim, however very few beaches can boast of an undercurrent free shore like Caranzalem beach can.
The beach has been maintained well and is clean and tidy. The surrounding area has been developed by creating well manicured grass lawns. Though water sports and amazing Goan food is available all along the beach the main attraction of this beach is undoubtedly safe and clear sea which has a magnetic effect on the tourists. While at Caranzalem beach one can visit the surrounding beaches such as the Dona Paula beach, the Vainguinim beach and the Miramar beach. One can also enjoy sightseeing of the nearby attractions.
