Chapora Fort:
Chapora's chief landmark is its venerable Old Fort. Built 500 years ago, this Portuguese fort is reachable after a hard climb but once you are there, you are sure to be absolutely overwhelmed by the views it offers of the sea, the green carpeted hills and the rice fields. It is most easily reached from the Vagator side of the hill. At low tide, one can also walk around the bottom of the headland, via the anchorage, and the secluded coves beyond it, to big Vagator, then head up the hill from there.
Eating Joints:
Cuisine is a big draw in all areas of Goa, Chapora being no exception. Finding somewhere to eat in Chapora is easy:just take a pick from the crop of affordable little cafes and restaurants on the main street. The popular Welcome, halfway down, offers a reasonable selection of inexpensive and filling seafood, Western and Vegetarian dishes, plusrelentless reggae and techno music, and backgammon sets. The Preyanka, nearby, is in much the same mould, but has afew more Indian and Chinese options. Make sure to try out "Bebinca", its taste is sure to linger in your mouths long after you've finished eating. The drinks are also very good in the area Scarlet Cold Drinks and the Sai GaneshCafé, both a short way east of the main street, knock up deliciously cool fresh fruit milkshakes that are incredibly refreshing, especially after a curry.
Swimming:
Chapora Beach is considered to be fairly safe and one can unhesitatingly and fearlessly enjoying swimming here.In fact it is very difficult to resist the tempting waves. You are sure to be lured by them. However it is advisable to seek the help of the life guards because the undercurrents are sometimes very strong.
Shopping:
Some shops also sell artifacts, antiques and trinkets, mostly made out of sea shells. They do not just make lovely presents, they can also be taken back home as decorative items to adorn the interiors of your rooms. Days later when you look at them, you are sure to remember with fondness the enjoyable times you spent at the Chapora Beach.

The number of hotels in the area near to the beach is really very few but to supplement this there are rented houses that are scattered among the coconunt plantations. Few of the hotels at chapora are:

Access:
The nearest railway station is Karmali and the nearest airport is Dabolim. From both these transit points as well as from other important points of Goa buses to Chapora Beach is available at frequent intervals. You can also take a taxi from the railway station and airport. Direct buses arrive at Chapora three times daily from Panjim, and every fifteen minutes from Mapusa, with departures until 7.00 pm. Motorcycle taxis hang around the old banyan tree at the far end of the main street, near where the buses pull in.

Fort Aguada:
